Schedule a FREE TRIAL today!

Here is how to get started.

1. Which class do I sign up for?

Any of the following classes can be taken with no experience:

  • Ages 2-3: Parent-tot
  • Ages 3-4: Mini-twisters
  • Ages 4-6: Twisters
  • Ages 6+: Beginner
  • Ages 6+: Ninja
  • Ages 12+ Tumbling

If your child has experience with gymnastics, we also offer Intermediate and Advanced classes. Feel free to call or text us at (805) 968-2453 or email us at so we can help you place them in the right class.

2. When do you have classes? How do I sign up?

View our full schedule, including which classes have openings, here. All classes are ongoing and you can do a trial at any time. Click the "Register" button next to the class you're interested in to register online. You’ll be signed up to do a free trial at the next available class date.

If you prefer not to register online, you can also print out and bring our Spirals Registration Form to your first class. Please call or text us at (805) 968-2453 or email us at to confirm your trial if you are not registering online.

3. How much do classes cost?

All rates are monthly and based on class length:

  • 45 minutes per week (Parent-tot and Mini-twisters): $95
  • 1 hour per week (most of our classes): $105
  • 1.5 hours per week (Advanced): $127.50

We have sibling, UCSB, and military discounts available, as well as discounted rates if your child takes more than one class. If you enroll in the middle of the month, we do prorate tuition so you don't have to pay for the entire month.

4. What to wear?

If your child has a leotard, have them wear that! If not, children can wear athletic clothes they are comfortable going upside down in. We also have Spirals leotards available for purchase at our front desk.

5. How do I get there?

We recommend parking in the Mesa Structure, Lot 18 at UCSB. Because we are on UCSB’s campus, you must pay for parking at one of the kiosks in the structure. Parking is $5 for 2 hours on weekdays, and $4 for the day on weekends. Exit the structure and walk across the street towards the Recreation Center, then turn left and walk along the soccer fields. Follow the path as it curves to the right, still along the soccer fields. We are located in Rob Gym on your left. Enter by the door with the bike racks (shown below). For other parking and parking payment options, please see our Location and Parking page.

Covid-19 Virus Update

Dear Spirals Family:

UCSB has just informed us that in addition to transitioning to virtual instruction, they are cancelling all youth related programs on campus beginning tomorrow, March 13, 2020.

Spirals was already in discussions to furlough its Recreational Programs through the end of March and we fully support the decision by UCSB to cancel youth programs. Currently the closure is through April 6, 2020.  UCSB will re-evaluate on going closures on April 1, 2020.  Spirals will keep you informed of any updates.

For our RECREATIONAL families

For classes in April, Spirals will resume instruction as soon as practical after UCSB re-opens its facilities to youth groups.

Currently, we are hopeful that the Covid-19 community impact will be minimal and Spirals will be resuming Recreational classes in mid-April.

For our TEAM families

Due to uncertainty regarding COVID – 19, SoCal gymnastics has cancelled the Level 6-10 Optional State meet.  As it stands now,  every athlete who qualified for SoCal State will qualify for the Regional Meet, if held.  Regarding ongoing Team training:

The Spirals staff is currently looking into potential alternative training sites/options.  Also, to keep our gymnasts in the best shape, our coaches are also actively working on individualized land based workouts for the team athletes, possibly through Titan.

Going forward, there remains a great deal of uncertainty regarding COVID-19 and it’s impact on our community.  Spirals will continue monitor the situation and we are committed to keeping our Recreational and Team families informed on a regular basis.

Should you have any questions, please reach out to any our Coaches and/or Board members.   We will do our best to answer your questions.

Sincerely Yours,
